Top 10 Tips affectionately referred to as our
10 Commandments!
- No washing for a minimum of 72 hours after your initial visit as this is your extensions ‘settling-in’ period.
- After washing, ensure you dry your tapes at the attachment as they can be vulnerable when wet. We advise to use a cooler setting on your hairdryer
** DO NOT BRUSH WET EXTENSIONS** - Avoid using products that contain the following:
– High oil Content
– Sulphates
– High Alcohol Content
We recommend Davines range - Ensure to nourish extensions with correct shampoos and conditioner. Use leave in products to provide moisture heat protection and sun protection . Weekly treatments and hair masks are advisable
- Do not apply high temperature to the attachment, use a cooler setting on your dryer , and avoid touching the attachments with your styling tools
- Detangle with your Richy brush morning and night and when needed
- Tie your hair into two loose low pigtails for bedtime. Do not use elastic bands.
- Refit / removal between 6 – 10 weeks depending on hair type
**Do not exceed recommended time frame** - Maintenance appointments available at the salon to keep your hair looking fabulous
- Please remember that Richy Hair is the highest quality of hand selected double-drawn European Hair and will have a natural wave to it ,as we do not use harsh chemical processing.
